Everspace 2 is an upcoming fast-paced open-world space shooter (singleplayer only) being developed by Rockfish Games, to be released on PC and console platforms. The final thing to note about the release build is that it will be priced “reasonably higher.” That pricing should change when the developers complete Early Access sometime in 2022. The recent tier 2 ships are even more disappointing. Others here are right that ships are like classes that offer different combat playstyles, but a hulking gunship being as strong and as expensive as a puny scout does not really make sense.
